Travelling on the N18 (coming from Limerick, Shannon or Cork)

Travelling towards Galway on the N18, will come to a roundabout at Oranmore (Oranbeg roundabout). Take the second exit (signed for Galway/Sligo).

Continue forward for ~1km.

Come to the Carrowmoneash roundabout. Take the second exit (signed for Galway).

Continue forward for ~3km.

Come to the Martin roundabout. Take the first exit (signed for Galway City East).

Continue forward for ~2.5 km. Will pass through 3 sets of traffic lights. Come to the Skerritt roundabout. Take the last (3rd) exit (signed for Ballybaan).

Continue forward for 250 metres.

Turn left into GMIT.

Travelling on the N6 (coming from the east coast or the midlands)

Travelling towards Galway on the N6, will come to a roundabout at Oranmore (Oranbeg roundabout). Take the third exit (signed for Galway/Sligo).

Continue forward for ~1km.

Come to the Carrowmoneash roundabout. Take the second exit (signed for Galway).

Continue forward for ~3km.

Come to the Martin roundabout. Take the first exit (signed for Galway City East).

Continue forward for ~2.5 km. Will pass through 3 sets of traffic lights. Come to the Skerritt roundabout. Take the last (3rd) exit (signed for Ballybaan).

Travelling on the N17 (coming from Mayo or Sligo direction)

Travelling towards Galway on the N17, will come to the Font roundabout. Take the first exit (signed for Dublin/Limerick).

Continue forward for ~0.4km.

Come to the Morris roundabout. Take the third exit (signed for Galway City East).

Continue forward for ~1km.

Take a right turn into GMIT.
